The agreement for using TaskSeal

Terms and conditions

These terms explain the rules for TaskSeal accounts, organization workspaces, service records, and paid subscriptions.

Effective and last updated: September 21, 2026

Operator and agreement

TaskSeal is owned and operated by Ernst Danielle B. Legaspi. These terms form an agreement between you and TaskSeal's owner for your access to and use of the TaskSeal website, web service, mobile apps, and related support.

By creating an account, accepting an invitation, purchasing a subscription, or using TaskSeal, you agree to these terms. If you act for a business or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization. You must have the legal capacity or lawful organizational authorization required to use the service.

Accounts and access

You must provide accurate account information, keep it current, protect your credentials and verification codes, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Organization owners and authorized managers control invitations, memberships, assignments, and access within their organization. Users must only access organizations, customers, locations, jobs, reports, and shared links they are authorized to use.

Organizations and service records

TaskSeal helps service businesses coordinate work and keep operational records. Each organization is responsible for its field services, workers, required licenses, safety procedures, customer relationships, instructions, and legal obligations.

An organization is also responsible for having a lawful reason to enter customer, property, worker, and job information; keeping that information accurate; assigning appropriate access; and choosing the correct recipients for reports and shared links. Do not enter passwords, alarm codes, payment-card data, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive information unless a TaskSeal field specifically supports it and the organization is authorized to do so.

Checklists, photos, signatures, timestamps, notes, reviews, and reports reflect information submitted through the service. They support coordination and recordkeeping, but TaskSeal does not independently certify that work was performed safely, lawfully, or to a particular professional standard.

Trials, plans, and subscriptions

Each new organization starts with a 14-day internal TaskSeal Solo evaluation. The evaluation does not automatically become a paid subscription. If no paid plan is activated, subscription-required actions may pause when the evaluation ends.

Paid plans, prices, and usage limits are listed on the pricing page. Prices are stated in USD and apply per organization. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Paddle calculates and displays applicable taxes and the final amount at checkout.

Paid subscriptions are purchased and managed through TaskSeal's authenticated web billing flow. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for web purchases. The transaction is also governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, while these terms govern use of TaskSeal and TaskSeal remains responsible for providing the software service.

You may cancel through the available billing portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, as shown when you cancel, and prevents the next renewal. Deleting an account and canceling a subscription are separate actions. Refunds are handled under the TaskSeal refund policy and applicable Paddle terms.

TaskSeal may change plan features, limits, or prices. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate service channel, and price changes will apply to future charges only after any notice or consent required by law.

Acceptable use

You may not use TaskSeal to:

  • break the law, violate another person's rights, or facilitate fraud, harassment, discrimination, or harm;
  • access an account, organization, system, or record without authorization;
  • upload malware, interfere with service security or availability, probe for vulnerabilities without written permission, or bypass access controls and plan limits;
  • copy, reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
  • submit content you do not have the right to use or share.

Your content and TaskSeal ownership

You and your organization retain the rights you already hold in customer details, job information, photos, notes, logos, signatures, and other content submitted to TaskSeal. You grant TaskSeal a limited license to host, process, reproduce, secure, back up, and deliver that content only as needed to operate, support, protect, and improve the service.

TaskSeal and its owner retain rights in the software, design, branding, documentation, and service materials, excluding user content. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is authorized and these terms are followed.

Our privacy policy explains how personal information is handled. A valid recipient of a customer report or shared link may save or forward the material they receive, so organizations should review report contents and recipients before sharing.

Availability and third-party services

TaskSeal may update, repair, secure, or modify the service and may experience interruptions. We work to preserve service reliability and records, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation, that every device or third-party connection will always work, or that the service replaces an organization's own safety, compliance, accounting, or archival processes.

Some features depend on third-party hosting, storage, email, notification, analytics, error-monitoring, app marketplace, and payment services. Their own terms and availability may also apply.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using TaskSeal and may request account deletion using the account-deletion process. Organization ownership, an active subscription, billing records, and records held by another organization may need to be resolved or retained separately.

TaskSeal may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address unpaid charges, security threats, unlawful activity, material violations of these terms, or risk to users or the service. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. We may terminate access for an unresolved material violation, subject to applicable law.

Responsibility and limits on liability

You remain responsible for decisions based on organization records and for keeping independent copies of records your business must retain. To the extent permitted by law, TaskSeal is provided without implied warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that user-submitted records are complete or accurate.

To the extent permitted by law, TaskSeal and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, business opportunities, goodwill, or data, arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Updates, questions, and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. The revision date will appear at the top of this page, and material changes will be communicated through an appropriate service channel. Continuing to use TaskSeal after updated terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.

Questions about these terms may be sent to support@taskseal.org. TaskSeal is owned and operated by Ernst Danielle B. Legaspi.
