Who we are and who this covers

TaskSeal is owned and developed by Ernst Danielle B. Legaspi. It helps service businesses plan jobs, document work, review results, and share completion reports. This policy covers the TaskSeal website, mobile apps, and related service.

People who may appear in TaskSeal records include business owners, managers, workers, customers, property contacts, and people who contact us for support. A service business decides which customer and job details its authorized team enters into TaskSeal.

Information we handle

  • Accounts and access: name, email address, password credentials, organization membership, invitations, sessions, and account-security events.
  • Customers and locations: contact details, service addresses, property information, and protected access instructions entered by an organization.
  • Service work: job plans, schedules, assignments, checklist progress, notes, issues, materials, photos, signatures, review decisions, and completion reports.
  • Billing and messages: subscription status and billing references, emails and push notifications, support requests, and privacy requests. Payment providers may collect payment details directly.
  • Technical information: device and app identifiers needed for notifications, sync and security records, error diagnostics, and limited product-usage events.

The public pages of this static website do not ask for passwords or collect form responses. Hosting providers may still process technical request information such as IP address and browser details to deliver and protect the site.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, control access within organizations, plan and complete jobs, synchronize field updates, review evidence, prepare and deliver reports, manage subscriptions, respond to support and privacy requests, and protect the service from misuse. Limited diagnostics and product events help us understand failures and improve reliability.

TaskSeal does not use an organization's customer or job records for advertising.

Who may receive information

Authorized members of a service business can access information according to their roles and assignments. A business may choose to send a customer a report, PDF, or secure report link. Anyone with a valid shared link may be able to view the information the link permits until it expires or is revoked; recipients may retain copies they download or forward.

To operate features, TaskSeal may use service providers for hosting and storage (Render and Cloudflare R2), email (Resend), web billing (Paddle), mobile notifications (Google Firebase and Apple Push Notification service), error monitoring (Sentry), and limited product analytics (PostHog). Their use and locations will be verified against the final production configuration before launch. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.

Security and location

TaskSeal is designed with role-based access, organization separation, encrypted transport, protected storage for sensitive records, and restricted access to customer evidence. No online service can promise perfect security. If you think information has been exposed or you received a report link by mistake, contact us.

TaskSeal and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. The final provider locations and any required transfer arrangements will be reviewed before launch.

How long information is kept

Information is kept while needed to provide the service, maintain organization records, meet legal or billing obligations, resolve disputes, and protect security. When an account-deletion request is confirmed through the secure service flow, it receives a processing deadline no later than 30 days after intake. Submitting a request does not instantly erase all records.

Account access and direct identifiers are removed or de-identified through a reviewed process. An organization's job, report, billing, and audit records may remain where the organization or law has a valid reason to keep them. Backup copies follow a separate expiry schedule. The detailed retention schedule will be finalized before launch.

See Delete your account for the request path and what to expect.

Your choices and requests

You can ask about information associated with you, request correction, or request account deletion. Some rights and exceptions depend on your location and the reason information is held. Organization members can also change available notification settings in the app.

To request deletion without the app, use the method on our account-deletion page. We may need to verify that a requester owns the account before acting. Never email us your password or a one-time code.
