Account and data controls

Delete your TaskSeal account.

You can request account deletion even if you no longer have the app. Here is how to start and what happens afterward.

Start a request

Choose the path that works for you.

TaskSeal will verify account ownership before acting. Never send a password or one-time code by email.

01

In-app account flow

Sign in to TaskSeal, open Settings using the gear icon, and choose Request account deletion. If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, use the verified email path.

02

Without the app

Email support@taskseal.org from the address used for your TaskSeal account. Say that you want to delete your TaskSeal account and associated personal data. We will follow up to verify your identity and register the request.

Email a deletion request

What happens next

  1. We confirm that the requester owns the account. An email alone does not delete an account.
  2. We check whether the account owns an active organization or subscription that needs a transfer or cancellation.
  3. We process the verified request, remove access and direct identifiers where appropriate, and confirm the outcome.

A confirmed deletion request receives a processing deadline no later than 30 days after submission. Request intake and completed deletion are separate steps.

Data that may remain

TaskSeal removes or de-identifies account information through a reviewed process. A service business may need to keep job records, reports, billing history, or audit records for its operations or legal obligations. Backup copies follow their own expiry schedule. We explain these categories in the privacy policy.

Deleting your account does not automatically delete another organization's customer and service records or cancel a subscription without resolving ownership and billing obligations. Cancel an active paid subscription through the Dodo Payments billing portal before deletion, or contact support for help.
